Amira Willighagen has had no singing lessons, she started singing because her brother was playing the violin. She just searched the internet for a song she would like to sing. She's 9 years old, and she only chose one of the hardest operatic solos to sing!

Here is my fav 'grown up' version of it..She almost captures the innocence of the song

Thanks for that Jane, she's incredible!

I always feel a wee tinge of sadness when a kid like her gets caught in the grasp of the business though.
Chances are they'll wring her out, then cast her aside.

I hope the likes of Simon Cowell don't tempt her into his evil shows.

Please don't be so negative ....let's put some positive energy out there that this young girl is nurtured and cherished for the god given talent she has.
This was just a couple of weeks ago and she's got through to the next stage. I wonder which song she'll find next of the net to 'take on'

In the meantime I'm off to do some housework to this....
