Hehe...I've always wanted a classy black and white bathroom with the emphasis on the black, and nice shiny chrome....never dates and always looks chique , something I learnt from my dear old mum and she had class....and a black and white bathroom!!
Pretty certain black tiles are the next cheapest to white...it's the coloured ones that are more expensive.

Aye, I've yet to source some proper bevelled edging tiles as per the photos though. You can get the thin border tiles but ideally, I'd like the curved edge ones as well.

Told you...stick a 'Wanted' ad on your local Freecycle or Freegle web site...you never know!

See the thin line before the border tiles in the pics above? They keep the (larger tiles) horizontals in-line and clip the verticals to achieve that, right?

That's what it looks like (never done it though).

You could paint the un-tiled bits of wall that nice spearminty green.
