Loads of cars park on pavements put lazy pigs don't do anything.

The reason being it's a selfish psychopathic society.

A lot of new housing estates have roads so narrow that if people didn't park half on the path, then emergency vehicles could not get through. Then the polis nick 'em for illegal parking.

Depends on the situation tbh, if it helps access and the car is only partially on the pavement then its perhaps forgivable esp outside their house in a narrow street, if its fully on the pavement on the high street then that's different

It's off topic a bit but:
I once parked my motorbike on a street where cars were parked all up one side. I parked it between the bumper and bonnet of two cars, at an angle to the pavement. It didn't stick out into the road past the cars.
When I got back, the cars parked either side of me had gone and I had a ticket for "obstructing the highway" attached to my bike

It's common practice now to park fully or partly on the pavement because many UK roads were designed before the masses owned cars.

laws are unenforceable if the majority break them.
