I propose any videos people think would be worth adding to the channel can be posted in this thread and if the post receives no objections in 24hrs of being posted then it's considered 'endorsed' by the community and added to the channel.

If you wish to submit a post please state a category/playlist for your vid to be added to.

Any objections, other ideas, completely unrelated thoughts?

I like that idea, but you will probably need to set up some playlists otherwise it could become quite unmanageable.

I was just thinking along similar lines but stopped when my solution was a channel for each sub-category on the forum! Your idea cuts quite a bit of that workload down.

Proposal for channel sub categories first then? Or just base it on the sub categories of the forum? Could be quite a bit of crossover stuff though.

What do folk think is a good way to select what appears on the channel? I suspect my '5 Thank yous' idea could be problematic as vids disappear off the last page and perhaps don't get the attention they deserve but I can also see problems with adding everything submitted, for one I've not made a Lightgiver playlist! :P

Maybe a thread.... even just this one for proposed stuff to add on to it & if there's no objection on it goes?
Obviously it needs to be consistent in the quality of the content so that's where the problem lies.... I rarely watch vids posted for various reasons so I'll struggle to have any regular input/say into what goes on it.
