Thing is though, i think that those high in the food chain do have to bow to certain public pressures if those pressures get too strong, so ulitmately its up to the people.

Those pressures have not been strong except for a few specific things, like when they tried to censor the internet for example and the government did an overnight back flip when people questioned their 'democracy' .

If those pressures did ever get strong things would sure get interesting. I dont know if they ever will though.

One man alone, Nick X, cannot stop Blackrock Inc and Vanguard owned corporations etc. , despite him knowing how to tell the people what they wanna hear.
