Had the shirt, the hair, the guitar it was just the fekking fingers that let me down!

He was a lovely, unassuming guy as well. There's loads of stories like jhado's out there.
Even Brian May tells of seeing Rory at the Marquee and as a cheeky young guitarist asking Gallagher how he got his sound. Most guitarists are gonna tell you at this point to "Git kid!" . Not Rory.
I've yet to find a single tale slanging him off.
He and the band used to even roadie their own gigs, (apparently it took them longer to set up the backstage bar than the stage gear).
