Who thought that would be a good idea?

How in a site with about eight members have I got -8 karma?

Shall I just leave? :(

It's what you get having a 'friend' as a moderator...Like this site would need one of them...Ego massaging of the highest order, to borrow a line from The Office 'Its like making the div kid milk monitor at school, no-one respects it'....

Tbh, I'm not sure if that system is such a good idea. It seems to be basically saying "we like your posts, so and so, but not your posts so and so"

It just smacks of...I don't know, social engineering? or something, not not quite...I've just got up :emb: :D

What if people start taking it seriously? Letting it shape their opinion of someone?

Anyone that takes the karma thing to heart needs a good boot up the ass if you ask :butkik:

It's a bit of fun... nothing more. And if... and I mean if, it became an issue in the future then I'm sure we could tackle it then. At the moment it's a bit of fun... as dg's karma score clearly demonstrates :spliff:
