Respected Ronsiron,
You speak true and sensible, as usual, but I ask how he accessed the building from the back to begin with?
I know my brain can stick on the simplest of details sometimes, and all this will come out in days to come as the murderer confesses his mind.
I wonder what further 'insulating' affect this will have on the American public; what other actions will come about as a result?
P.S. To the forum: Say what you will, but if someone was secretly armed they might have been able to take down that man. Due to my own life experiences and knowledge of others' life experiences, I am pro concealed weapon, with proper training and permitting, of course. (

You may find that abhorrent, but this is America, and that's the way it is......which is why I seek sanctuary and citizenship elsewhere....one day, when I get up enough resources.
Two witnesses said he just walked in through the exit, was very calm, looked at everyone, didn't say a word, and tossed two canisters into the crowd. He either had a key, an accomplice, or he walked in through the main entrance of the theatre well before it filled up, exited, and waited there while everyone piled in. He could easily have jammed the door bolt so that he could close the door, and not trigger the security system. IMO, that's probably how he did it.
He was wearing a gas mask, so tear gas wasn't going to bother him. IF someone was carrying a concealed, even if an off duty cop was there with a concealed, they were there to chill and watch a movie. They wouldn't have been prepared for tear gas, or for anything else except watching a movie. They would've been firing blind into a haze of gas.
