So far I've seen contradiction of the area of the place where the shooting started, the colour of the shooter, and also his name - Fox apparently have had to correct themselves after naming the wrong person as the killed gunman.

'A 34-year-old man from Fort Worth, Texas named Aaron Alexis has been identified as the gunman in the horrific Navy Yard shooting in Washington D.C. According to his now defunct LinkedIn page, he did civilian work for the US Navy and also worked at a company called SinglePoint. His college is listed as Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Reports say he was armed with multiple guns, including an AR-15.

Various news agencies are reporting that he used someone else’s ID to gain clearance for today’s massacre. He has been shot and killed by police, however there are at least 11 other people dead. Authorities are also on the lookout for two other possible suspects — one of which is a white male with a handgun'.
