yeah patches are a rip off. i got mine on prescription (free) from drs, they do 6 week course in total, but they give you them two weeks at a time....so it works out if you pay for prescriptions bout £3.50 per week

before i quit i was using pure tobacco "Natural American Spirit" which was a really nice smoke and made j's burn nice and slow

used blue rizlas too cos they didnt have peat in them or something....

tbh, only gave up cos skin started looking like Zelda...vanity all the way baybee

That's goddamn crazy about growing 'baccy... Luckily it's legal in here. But only for own use, not for sale... There's huge taxsation on commercial tobacco here. But that's not my problem.

I've got so much tobaccoseeds, I can keep growing the stuff 'til the day I die.

Btw, if anybody's interested, I can send those seeds to who ever want's to try some gardening.

Thats great Hexhammer, unfortunately for us it's an impossibility, nearly all our tobacco is imported...wonder why when the grower's were paid pittance for all their effort... so no one has any seeds here.

Yep it's all about corporate profit an power.

Big tobacco has taken a hit with the 1st world countries smoking less, they are moving more into third world countries taking less profit but gain more 'supporters' ie addict's to their profitability.

If the CEO boost the profit margin of the corporation he get's to keep his job and maybe even a rise in salary, if not then it's out the door.

It's so hard to quit!
I went six weeks without recently (been smoking rolling tobacco for twenty five years, preferred brand
Amercian Spirit), but I'm back on them. I had few cravings and felt health benefits after a couple
of weeks, but ended up smoking again whilst out at the local pub. Not too bothered, I'll try
again soon.

I read Allan Carrs book once, it was good. Power of the mind...

I'm now over two months in, staying clean... Although day before yesterday, I was in next town, with my bandmates, I was wasted drunk and having a bad night, really bad night. I took few puffs, couldn't really smoke so I passed it back to our bassist. But it seems I can't even smoke anymore, even if I try to.

That's very good sign if it stays. It's so much fun to smell and taste everything so strongly, and I don't get so easily tired any more. I think that's probably 'cos the CO is gone.... Breathing CO makes you go VERY tired quite fast. I think it somehow depletes oxygen or something? I'm not good in biochemistry so I really don't know what it exactly does.

I know this CO = tired --> passing out ---> death. I've lived in house with wood stove, once I screwed up, I shut up the chimney BEFORE all fire was out, house was soon full of CO and I nearly passed out... I went(almost crawled)outside to have a breath, then open all doors and windows to get the CO out of there. It's quite nasty stuff.
