Yer mam's co-op dividend number was tattoo'd into your brain at birth.

Anyone remember green shield stamps? They used to hand em out when you did your shopping (a bit like clubcard points now).

You stuck em in special little books, and when the books were full you could exchange them for goods from a special shop in town. My mum used to collect them.

I think the "...cos pasteurised is best, Ernie I'll be having you if it comes up to me chest" line was my first experience of 'wordplay' for comic effect.

Did you listen to it? :P

She said she'd like to bathe in milk, he said, "All right, sweetheart,"
And when he'd finished work one night he loaded up his cart.
He said, "D'you want it pasturize? 'Cause pasturize is best,"
She says, "Ernie, I'll be happy if it comes up to my chest."

OK, I got a word wrong, not bad though for a 25-30 odd year old memory!

Davie Jones, a Welsh bloke surprisingly, was the Provi man?

The She-wagon was the one who delivered skoosh before the Alpine man.
