My son's temporarily robbed my lap-top, so I'm on the old one, which is like the PC equivalent of a quill & ink - so no jolly pictures can be posted.

Commiserations to the 2 invalids.

When I had a wisdom tooth out a the novice hospital in Newcastle, they gave me a card to fill in thrice a day the level of pain I was in for the next few days - a score out of 10.

When I went back in with the card marked, 10;10;10;10;10 etc, they said, 'It's infected. Why didn't you come and tell us you silly bitch'. Well that might not have been their exact words, but that was what they clearly meant. But as they'd given the expectation that it could give level 10 pain, I hadn't known it was because it was infected. And I'm sure that had nothing to do with lighting my first cigarette as I stepped out of the building. :rab:

Went to collect Al from my mum's, and she mentioned she'd like to have a little dog again (after saying a year ago she'd not get another when her border terrier died). Within seconds, I'd located the perfect candidate, just down the road from her, and arranged to go & meet it.

It's a very glorious beastie, which just needs a haircut to reveal that it does have a pretty face - friendly and sensible natured - and it's hers tomorrow.

Just got my eye-brow re-done today. Am trying to psyche myself up for another tatt. I like the place and it's clean and they said they could do a custom tatt for a reasonable price for me.
