Wow, I feel really sorry for him. It's a problem we men all have, women pestering us for sex and us having to turn them down...

Imagine being brainwashed into that worldview from a young age. Life is hard enough as it is without voluntarily making it more difficult for yourself.
The true measure of a man is not his intelligence or how high he rises in this freak establishment. The true measure of a man is this: how quickly he can respond to the needs of others and how much of himself he can give - Philip K. Dick.

i am mostly admiring the new bags i have made - am rather chuffed :)

And so you should be thor :)

I'm chuffed just hearing about it :D there's no thing better than a thing made by ones own hands. Not that I've made anything like that, just models and that, but still it's extremely satisfying :)

Thanks irre :) have decided to try and make something everytime I get pissed off at idiots on the net instead of engaging with them - I may just become the imelda marcos of hand crafted bags and hats!

Hope your hand has stopped stinging :rose:

Haha :D I had to look up Imelda Marcos, I mean google her :umm: :emb: :chuckle: She had a great many shoes :O :chuckle:

My hand has mostly stopped stinging thor, thanks :) It's just a bit stiff and feels a bit weird but it didn't blister which is good. I have a pretty high tolerance for hot water on my hands. I tend to wash my hands under really hot water for some reason, well, we don't have mixer taps in the bathroom and I can't stand ice cold water on my hands :chuckle:

Thanks CC :D

I gave you a good + smite before for your post in my boredom thread :D

My hand is absolutely fine now. All that washing them under scalding water has really paid off :O :D Although if the water was boiling hot, I'm sure it would have been blister time :chuckle:

I do this...but with curtains and cushions. So you see, the Nazi, racist, homophobic, bigots do have their uses after all. They inspire me to turn all that hatred and bile into something frilly and chintzy.

It really is so much better for you, not to mention a much more productive use of your time, thoreau. ;)

The simple things are all we need when it comes down to it :)

Safe place to reside. Food. Water. Love and affection I'd have to add as well. They are the necessities of life.

And books. I'm not a huge reader, but given the choice between films, music, games, I'd choose books every time. They are precious things.

I forgot to add the most vitally important thing of all :O Ones health, if you have your health, you have everything.

I'm wondering if I'm the only person in the world who hates the smell of freshly-cut grass! A man from the council is at this very moment mowing the big green outside our house and the smell is making me feel slightly sick. Blaahh...!

Urgh, got a chest infection after my flu. I havent been looking after my health recently and now I feel all bleh. Need to get back on my healthy living kick, but don't have the motivation.

Fresh cut grass can smell kind of shitty if it's an area where a lot of people walk their dogs.

Sorry to hear you're not too well, lesley! Hope you're back on top form soon!

Interesting what you say about dogs & grass - there are many people who walk their dogs on the green, and to be fair 99.9% of them do "pick up" after them, thankfully!
