Hurrah & huzzah! OH has left work - for good! He's taking the holiday he's owed in lieu of notice and he ain't going back! I think he deserves a rest after 40 years in the same job! In recent years he's really begun to hate it - not the people, who are really nice, but the job itself, which had changed beyond recognition. He is, frankly, knackered! So we are now going to settle into a peaceful middle-age of thimble-collecting and model-making!

OH has just said "Before we settle into a peaceful middle-age of hobbies, we are going to sort this bl***y place out or we won't have the room to pursue any of them! Most of the s**t lying around is yours anyway!". He's quite right, you know!

Maybe I could get him to join the SZ!

I'm now a huge fan of showering

I'll never bathe again

My SLS and parabens free toiletries turned up yesterday, so I too have been loving the joys of showering.
