I asked our E&S rep about being expected to work in the cold and was told he would bring it up in the new year at their next meeting.

At least the cold is keeping people out of my section, so some good has come out of it.

I'm trying to read one and it seems to be empty, I'm fairly sure the document should be complete but when I open it, it only has page titles, no text

I uninstalled acrobat and tried a browser plugin but that wouldn't open it at all

any ideas?

You need adobe to use the browser plugin. Check which version you have, download it again and reinstall it. Look at the file size, if it's sitting at 0 or 1 (or just generally really small in bites), it's empty. If it's larger than that, try clicking on the different page titles and see if it jumps to it (if they're clickable). Or try scrolling and see if it changes pages. I can't really tell you without having it in front of me though
