Because the USA was/is made up of people from various ethnic/religious backgrounds there isn't/wasn't the cohesion that the UK had of people trusting each other sharing similar backgrounds gene pools and shared experiences.

Anybody saying otherwise is in la la land.

It's only recently the cohesion in the UK as dissipated in each region.

Dubs i seen Harry Brown a few years back, mater a fact i think that was the movie which caused me to take a look into urban UK.

Kidulthood and Adulthood kinda reminded me a little of the kids i deal with at the High School i coach at.

I'm watching Shank on Netflix but it's not that good.

ill manors is not on Netflix so i will watch it on my laptop.

Aye, shank is deffo the weakest of the bunch. Being a slightly futuristic view and all. I still enjoyed it though.
Please do search out ill manors, it's worth it. Good film.

Since I live in metro Atlanta and have Netflix I will be sure to check that out. It is odd living in a place that you sometimes see on those high speed chase shows or Cops.

Dubs i watched this 4 episode program called Top Boy on Netflix it was the best of all the UK urban crime movies i have seen yet.

Very similar to how some large projects can be in America and reminded me of a Famous HBO show called The Wire.

Well I started watching Snow on tha bluff but could not get into it. I read that the guy that plays Omar in The Wire(Michael K. Williams) was one of the producers though or possibly the only producer as I imagine it didn`t cost much. Now I love the Wire so I will have to give that other show a go. This topic has gone a whole other way now. We should have a Netflix suggestions thread but sadly most people here are in the u.k. so their netflix is different anyway and then people might not have it in the first place.

Yea, Top Boy (UK) & The Wire (US) are the best of the urban crime shows I have seen and Top Boy is a good watch on Netflix

Snow on the Bluff is not something you should get into, it's just a Raw movie put together with some real & staged footage in a place called Vince City, Atlanta. I gotta admit after a quick google maps search just to double check the authenticity of Snow on the bluff i must say that Bank Head & Vince City look very run down and i don't doubt the content of the movie.

It's crazy how this really is an act of war if you listen to what this guy is saying, strait up martyr talk without doubt.

He makes it extra clear if British soldiers want to drop bombs on his people he has to do this.

I can only assume he felt obligated to do it since he even apologizes to women who witnessed it.
