In a monumental victory, Adidas has agreed to compensate 2,800 Indonesian garment workers who were owed US $1.8 million in severance pay following the closure of sportswear factory PT Kizone. I take it you mean it's nice for you to bitch about it - but do what you accuse others of anyway, because we don't have a choice, or available knowledge on most producers.

BUT I do like the Santa Fe tobacco company. Very good indeed. A bit like 'Fair Trade' by the sounds of it.

*Edit* I thought it sounded vaguely familiar. I smoke American Spirit, which I'd done some homework on first a few years ago. I just checked & they are part of the Santa Fe co.

There are quite obviously levels of consumption and many people's sole aim in live is to increase their ability to consume, the way they do this is by becoming more selfish more egocentric and more wealthy ;)
Everyday I become less self defined, personally neglectful and self destructive and poorer (what with the cut in JSA and rise in basic things like electric, of which I use very little on my meter.
