You say it was your nose :coffee:
But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma,
a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

You've not admitted to any stupidity yet MP, yet I'm sure you must have many tales to share. :D

This is bad... not realising that Chewbacca was actually played by an actor in a furry suit - took a few years before I cottoned on. In my defence I'd seen chimps moving pianos/making cups of tea and David Attenborough cuddling gorillas on TV so thought anything was possible.

for my birthday a few years ago i was given a huge cardboard box - on opening it was full off popcorn - not wanting to look ungrateful i shoved a handful in my mouth - the popcorn was actually being used as packaging for a load of lush bath bombs - that taste is worse than the smell for lingering - not even a few shots of jack diminished it!! everyone else knew the box contained bath bombs :aargh:
Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known.

When I was young single and dumber, I was at the obligatory party in a pub skittle alley. When everyone got kicked out there was a huge throng of people in the car park. With lots of young ladies that had caught my eye over the evening, standing around, chatting.
I decide to make a bit of an exit on me GS125 teenorbike. Threw me leg over, clicked me helmet strap with gusto, fired the motor and went to pull away doing a 'broadie'. Got about 3 feet before I was thrown off to land in a crumpled heap with the bike in a hedge.

Had forgotten to take the steering lock off :emb:
