Duke of Edinburgh admitted to hospital with recurrence of bladder infection
The Duke of Edinburgh will spend the next few days in hospital in Aberdeen after being admitted with a recurrence of the bladder infection he suffered in June, Buckingham Palace has announced.

The Duke, who is 91, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by road this afternoon after feeling unwell during his annual summer break at Balmoral with the Queen.

A statement from Buckingham Palace said: "The Duke of Edinburgh has had a recurrence of the bladder infection that he had in the summer and has been admitted to hospital for investigation and treatment.

"His Royal Highness is likely to remain there for the next few days."

Think positive everyone... any number of things could go wrong with that bladder...
Someone could insert the catheter wrong and *poof* ruptured!
They could miss the bladder with a needle and severe an artery...
Could mistake that he is in there for a hysterectomy and remove the bladder by mistake....
Think positive!

Yes, but he plans to reincarnate as a killer virus to wipe out the 'surplus' population. :O

All of this venom is a bit unexpected on this forum, I thought I was on DIF for a moment.

@Gilly... I highly doubt any higher power in their right mind would let reincarnate as a virus. I think all the other people on the otherside would pounce on him before he got the chance to.

@Jhado... I apologize for the venom... but I do wish I had venom and could bite that man; wait, nevermind, I'd probably catch something if I did...I wish I could spit venom at the man. He has done a lot of cruel things (similar to the US presidents in harming people and child, innocent ones) and I think his time is done passed.

Ahhhh, ummmmm, best not add my tuppence worth then. Coz I DETEST that man!!! His "age" doesn't soften me toward him either.

Anyway - the country needs a good funeral around about now. They've had The Wedding; they've had Playtime; now they need a good sob to round things off.

The Bobbles.

You know, all those Bobbling people who turn up every thime these things step outside doors; and all Bobble about in throngs waving little flags or looking solemn or sad (in line with what these things want to see).

There will be millions of Bobbles waiting to Get Off on this.

It would be "sad" for you or me; but for the Bobbles it's a way of Life, it's what they're here for and they want to prove it at every opportunity.

Yeah... and all the Bobbles crowd around Dr Who waving little flags at him; and get annoyed if Dr Who doesn't give them a lead on how they have to portray themselves (happy, joyous, proud, sad, solemn) and the only way he can escape them is to become haughty and aloof and go and live in a big house that the Bobbles accept they are too lowly to go in....

This could be a goer...
