I'm talking about the kind of stress that makes your normal easy nature change or you become upset and worried obsessively and loose your normal capability for rational thinking and problem solving.

Some categories come to mind.
Money worries about daily survival and bills.
Friends and relationships going bad.
Failures and lost chances or hope in something going well for you that is not turning out
Health issues.
ETC....................many I haven't thought of
There are numerous, but which type of life's stress causes the most turmoil in your mind,which actually changes your normal personality,and takes control over you to more or less of a degree.

Financial stress, if I'm honest. I'm very fortunate to be in the position where I'm healthy and sound, my daughter is healthy and sound, and my sisters and wider family too. But so much in life is "denied" due to lack of money; and I really FREAK at being pressured to find money for this or to pay for that....

Money, its always money.

I always stress about money.

Money as in rent,food,utilities this is basic and normal to worry about,unless your a don't give a darn hardcore hobo,the one stress I think throws people over the edge is based in sexual desires that are repressed,or a true hatred of parents without at times actually realizing it,and many folks live under this repressed hatred of their parents for a lifetime.

Pressure to be something of prestige or a somebody so to speak is another massively stressful thing for many, and causes all kinds of delusions and unreasonable expectations.

Hmmm...I don't often get that stressed. I would say the thing that stresses me most is the threat of violence. Being put in a really bad position by someone where the only outcome would be a fight. That's incredibly stressful. I abhor violence. I don't want to hurt anyone, nor do I want to be hurt, I like my teeth and my nose is nice and straight Why should I go to prison for some scrote? Then there are comebacks maybe, someone has picked a fight with you, you've hammered them and then they want revenge because of wounded pride etc. Nah, fuck violence. It should only be used as an absolute last resort, or to protect someone, especially a loved one.

Yeah, so I reckon violence stresses me out the most.

Have to agree with most so far and say money. Even if you strip yourself bare and just eek out what you can on the minimum, there's never enough.

I can't remember the last time I actually went shopping for 'pleasure', for example, save for a few charity shops and car boots here and there. Otherwise, I'm just getting by and keeping a roof over my head.

I'm kind of stuck in a bit of a loop, like millions of others I suppose. I will say it is much worse actually realising that is the case, whereas before I was just running myself ragged trying to pay everyone. I don't do that so much any more, but the realisation that this is basically all I've been doing my whole life coupled with the thought that I may never figure out how to free myself of it without being physically dead, does get me down.

I feel a bit shit when I can't afford to eat and stuff, too.

Thankfully, I've nobodies arse to keep but my own!

Money wise...I'm extremely cheap...

I mean I can live on £20 per week give or take food wise. I eat shit though I live with my mum so I'm not sure how much living on my own would dent my finances, what with rent and water rates, eleccy, gas, etc etc.

Yeah Abs I'll be the first to admit I'm on a bit of an easy street here living at home. Although there are other downsides to that though. Putting up with my mum for one Not having real privacy...I couldn't really bring a girl back here...I have had my ex's staying here but we had to have extrememly quiet sex Also not having enough of my own space, trapped in my bedroom all day and night is no life really. It's a double edged sword.

It seems to be the way in this god forsaken country that the more you work, the more they take. That's the way it seems to me.

Its all for the family though. The family unit is something precious and essential if civilized society is to flourish.
You don't need religion or govt or any of that stuff, all it takes is men and women with the guts to pull it off against all odds.
Sometimes it means breaking or bending the rules, that in itself though teaches you a lot about how screwed society is.

I've just realised that I've always had quiet sex I haven't lived!

My first gf, I was in her house or she was in mine, our parents in both = quiet sex. My last gf, I was in hers she was in mine, she had a teenage son in the next room = quiet sex.

That's probably a bit stressful in itself We're back on topic...sort of
