I wonder if they would be so quick to tell us if human DNA was found to be in burgers?...I don't think they would tell us and would hush it up.

If someone had been murdered and you had the right contacts...what better way to dispose of a body!

I don't think it's too far fetched to think that we might have eaten some minced up meat in some form or another, at some stage in our lives, with the added ingredient of man in it.

My dad cooked one of his burgers.... he said it was good to firm.

Doesn't compare to Tesco's meatballs though, they're the dogs bollocks.

andyh, I see these jokes fading soon, these stories never last furlong.

I once found a tiny piece of those blue kitchen plasters in a McDonalds burger.

As has been said many times before, if you really want to know what's in it, catch it and kill it yourself. :dunno:

People are a bit daft about meat though. I can understand the distinction between 'human' meat and meat from other animals...kind of, but I've never really understood why and how people get so upset about eating certain animals over others. As a meat eater, if I were hungry enough and could bring myself to kill it, I'd eat it. Simple as, really. Thing is though, I'd have to be really fekkin hungry to be able to kill something in the first place, as I suspect would many others, if they really sat and thought about.

Fish I think I could do, but then skinning and gutting it would probably turn my stomach enough that I didn't want to eat it after that either.

Who knows? Hopefully, none of us will ever have to know just how hungry 'hungry' actually is, though I'm growing increasingly doubtful about even that, unfortunately.

Piss poor standards that.
I find that a beaten egg added to the burger mix is perfectly sufficient to hold it together, band-aids are just cheating.

My thoughts exactly. My own fault really...s'pose I should have specified "hold the band-aid" at some point.

That's disgusting...the point of the plasters being blue is that that don't get lost in food! :barfonu:

I love horses, but must admit that the jokes/pics on here have been hilarious.

Whenever I go to Italy and eat a meal with beef in it, I always ask the waiter, to the embarressment of everyone with me , if there is horse in it. :emb: :D

What's wrong with horsemeat? I don't get it... Cant' eat horse, but pigs/cows/chicken are just fine? That's fucking retard way of thinking.. I've eaten horsemeat, I like it... They turn it into very good sausages here. Nothing wrong with it.

And Chinese eating dogs? What' the fuck does it matter if it's a cow or a dog or a horse, it's dead animal used for food, what's the difference? Eating dogs / cats what ever is ok to me if the animal was killed quickly without any unnecessary violence... Torturing animals while killing them for food is disgusting.

I like horses too, they're majestic, great creatures, but when a horse gets old, it's time for the sausage factory. Gah, i'm opening too many cans of worms here. Dammit. (sorry guys, I've drank few  s)

Why is it retarded to choose which meat you prefer to eat, or not, as the case may be?

Some people find it acceptable to eat shit, but that doesn't mean that if someone served me up a great big steaming turd that I would want to eat it!

I have stopped eating meat derived from pigs for this reason. When I was studying Psychology, I saw a diagram of a pig's brain next to a human brain, and came to realise that they're virtually identical:

Pigbrain

Sorry if people are a bit squeamish about this kind of thing, but the human brain is on the left, the pig brain on the right. The only real difference between the two is that the human brain has proportionately enlarged cerebral hemispheres. You look at the behaviour of pigs and what they've been able to do in tests, and they're very intelligent animals, only dolphins and apes are considered more intelligent, I think. In New Zealand, biologists used pig brain cells wrapped in a seaweed derivative to be implanted into human brains to treat Huntington's disease:

news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4137466.stm

It's not just that pigs are intelligent, they experience the same level of consciousness as human-beings. Yet 90% of pigs that are used for food in the UK are factory farmed. It makes no more sense than eating a dog, in fact arguably it makes less sense.

I think you raised an interesting issue, but perhaps "That's fucking retard way of thinking" was not the best way of putting it!

Just blame it on alcohol:
