I really don't want to get a job but the job centre has giving me such a hard time lately. It's not because I'm lazy because I'm not.
I just get really depressed as I don't function well with sleeping people. I am a loner and just the thought of going up every morning to get to a job I don't want anyway to dwell around with sleeping people until afternoon does not fit well with me. I never had the "American dream" that I'm supposed to love. I just don't get this lifestyle, of course I don't look down on them that do like this lifestyle but it's just not for me. Everything many of the sleeping people do on their jobs these days during the breaks is gossip about celebrities, soap operas, family/friends, behind peoples backs and so forth. Or they talk about new gadgets and technology and other pointless things I don't want to be a part of. There is no jobs I would enjoy doing, I would just waste half my day to make money and when I come home it's time to make dinner, then after that I will be awake a few hours more before it's time to go to bed to go through the same routine monday to friday. Our lives are short, I can not understand how people put up with it..

You who are without jobs here, how do you get by? How do you make money?

You don't basically, simple as.
The only way to make a living is to train and re-train and follow the market, which is ofc precisely what the corporations and even gov now want, 0 hour contract workers to hire and fire as necessary and get people to fight over petty wages.

I'm a bit sick of it tbh and the more I look at it the more angry I get. I remember decking a git in Ireland for whining about 'doleys' and getting in trouble for it. I just snapped, should've ignored it but they (fascist cunts) just make me sick.

Become self employed from home. Set up some shit business that you don't really care about and get your wages made up by tax credits. Freelance journo or something.

Or start a TV company claiming to be of the people, I hear the going rate is about 10k a day.

Think yourself lucky you aren't disabled. Many of those folk are 2 clicks away from being thrown in to a pit and buried alive.

I've lived on the dole for periods of my life & it's a real struggle sometimes. I feel similarly to you about it except I'm not bothered about other people and what their life entails. I just don't like working set hours for set days doing tedious, mundane & repetitive work for somebody else to make a load of money out of. When I work I do it well but I value my labour far higher than most capitalists would be prepared to pay. Afterall, they're basically buying part of my life. I've done various bits 'on the side' to keep afloat at times, but now I'm a student so I've avoided it for another few years.... which is now coming to an end, but even that's a right struggle financially.... and obviously, I'm expected to get some work out of it at the end!
I'm sure there must be something you're good at, that you enjoy that you could use to provide an income?

Well this is it in a nutshell innit.
Nearly ALL brits are on tax credits lol, we rely on it now.
Its not as if gov can just stop paying it now either or it'll cause chaos, I'm sure all the wingnuts realise that

People have told me this in the past as well but it's not so easy to just set up a buisness like that in Sweden, you need a good idea. The other thing would be impossible in Sweden with the tv.

It's a different system in Sweden, disabled people do have money. I do know it's a hard time for the disabled in UK for an exemple but not here.

Not yet, thankfully scandinavians don't have to panic about social welfare, count yourself lucky :)

You're quite right ofc, you cannot simply start up a biz and automatically get customers, thats a complete load of bollocks.
There has to be demand (huge demand) for what you provide, and as I said before thats most likely going to be top end skills such as oracle DBA, coding, healthcare, teaching that sort of thing and it takes years and thousands to pay for the training and qualifications and even then you'll need work experience to back it up.

There are very few old world skills that pay heavily now..perhaps making fine art or musical instruments that are rare or blacksmithing and farrier work in the right location could get you some living pay out of it but you can forget the usual homework lark.

I feel you on that, just working for a boss that don't do much more than papper work gets more money than us that do all the hard work. And they make all the money. They don't deserve all this money they got. This world is so unfair.

Creative things is my thing such as art, interiour design and I have told the job centre about this serveral times and all they have told me is that I can not make a living out of this in Sweden whitch pretty much is the truth. But there is no way I will just throw away my life and live the avrange normal life with a job, children and a perfect husband. I was in fact fired from every job I ever had, not because I was bad but because I got depressed and couldn't do my job right and I had all kinds of jobs in the past.

¨¨I have though about that too actually. It is a goob idea to buy fashion clothes and bags from the chinese market and sell it higher to girls and women that are into fashion. Starting a telephone sex buisness is also something I could do. I will look through it all and see how easy/hard it would be.

Maybe you could/should start writing opinion and ideas on interior design and sketch ups etc. Build a background that people can see. Do what you can do, document it. Rich people hang with rich people.. And they talk. Favor for a favor etc. that's what you got to tap.

You're right but then I would not make money out of it that often so i wouldn't be able to make a living out of it. Buy cheap and sell higher seems like the best thing. I am thinking to buy some things for next month from chinese online shops.

Selling on ebay is easy. Search out the powersellers and emulate them. See what they sell loads of and then scourer the internet looking for a supplier. It can be done and be quite successful too. I did it for about 6 months and made a pile of cash but found it soul destroying and tedious. Now I'm off of work and on the sick. Which is much better for my mental health. ebay does work it is just boring as fuck. If I could of automated my ebay shop I would still have it today. I just couldn't find a way to make it work without eating into my head.

Yes it's always a good idea to start off with and i can understand, it's not always so fun but much better than going to a normal job...

Have you ever thought of getting a broker's licence?

I don't know what this brikers license is,never heard of it before and I did watch the videos. If it's true it just feels like bad karma..

It wasn't an entirely serious suggestion.

There is a sportsman who is famous in England called Shane Warne. I doubt you will have ever heard of him. But I saw him interviewed once, and he said words to the effect of...”the key to life is working out what you’re good at, and then doing everything you can to pursue it. I’m lucky because I’m not good at anything else, but I found the one thing that I’m good at.”

What you should do is work out what you're good at and ideally interested in. And then there will be a voice in your head that will say "you can’t make any money doing that." And you just have to silence that voice, and figure out how you can make money from your skill. And then commit yourself 100% to trying to achieve it, and don’t give yourself the excuse of not trying or not committing yourself fully to fall back on.
