i imagine peoples facial expressions typing to me are a mixture of awe, and jealousy. girls always talk to me in a soft throaty whisper, and guys sound like whimpering babies. unless it is praise, in which case they sound manly.

I totally see where you are coming from dub, but I want to point out why I think it important to agree as a community on guidleines for both self-moderation and the powers of moderation granted on posters appointed by us to carry it out.

I think a good way to start would be to start a list od okay and not okay and more than okay [/color] and no fkn way that we can ask others agree to.

Also put in a "dunno" option too.

What rules do you want in place? Keep the same rules that we signed up for, make changes to them while leaving them in place, change the rules completely...

What powers will the mods be granted? What rule book will they be following?
What things can the mods do without permission of the community and an open debate about it?
What things do we wanna have a say in?

How are we going to take this forum and turn it into something besides debates and arguing among members?
Can we create a thread specific to what we can reasonably accomplish, like a goal for each month, or each year (like new years goals)?
Can we create a thread specific to helping someone else out, pick a project to help someone else, and post as we go along how its working out?
We wanna see change, well lets make it happen and stop bickering over who spelled what right or wrong and what homeboy is using proper English while an Englishman is using homeboy language? Or arguing over who is right and who is wrong and how we can get everyone to think the same, and learn to COMPROMISE!
