Why is it so sh*t?

It's really starting to get me down. :(

Soon as I'm able, I'm moving to hotter climes where the sun shines at least once or twice a week. Am I to assume that the really hot three or four days we had a couple of weeks ago was officially our summer, then?

It's like '30 days of night'. If vampires do really exist in the traditional sense, then they're definitely British. I want my D3 shot!!!!

Wimbledon is about to start , it always rains during July.

UK weather isn't all that bad, it seems in balance with nature....rain,snow, sun, hail, wind just as is needed.

We don't have extreme life threatening weather which to me is a good thing.

Other countries may be warmer but that brings it own weather problems (hurricanes, giant spiders, snakes) sometimes it just a case of the grass isn't always greener :emb:

Sorry to hear it's getting you down Ab.

Over here in the US,at least here in TN it's hot and dry....to the point where I don't even have to mow the lawn. The grass is dead lol

Can't stand hot weather myself. Give me cold wet weather any day.

it's not really cold at the moment it feels more humid in the uk where i am with a lot of water vapor in the air which ends up making me look like ray mears after a trek in the amazon when i get home from work.

but it does rain every other day

the problem with the uk weather is that it seems like we just have one grey wet season all year round

i would prefer myself to live in a real cold country which actually had a real winter

I got sick of the frizzy hair thing today, so I had it all off, well short for me anyway.

The most annoying thing about the whole thing is, is that I know that all day, every day, just above that miserable bastard cloud-cover, is brilliant, clear blue skies.

I have to constantly remind myself of this fact, less I should go completely bananas.

Nice one, Monsieur de la Origine, I hadn't actually thought of it that way before.

It's been pissing down here this evening.

It's starting to wear a bit thin now. I also suspect that those few hot days were actually our summer.

I just realised that it is literally midsummer and we have had just under a week of nice weather. If the rest of the year is going to be like this I hope there is some sort of false flag at the London Olympics. Anything to break the monotomy of these long wet dreary days.

It's a conspiracy

It's taking the piss alright. Maybe I should go out topless in my shortest shorts too. Then again I probably shouldn't as I'm a lady. They might arrest me and then section me. Plus, I live next to the village school. :villagers:
