Thats unusual. Thunderstorms normally occur after a spell of hot and humid weather in the UK.

We tend not to do hot and humid in Edinburgh. Like you, it's just rained all week.
It's easing off now but still rumbling a bit in the distance.

Went to a filming of the Antiques Roadshow yesterday and having stood in the pissing rain the whole goddam day in our infamous British ques (which for the record I'm still pretty shit-hot and being able to jump), my poor old bones still ache today... well my calfs actually - and ok, maybe it wasn't technically the fault of the rain and more because I had the wrong footwear on... but nevertheless the rain was a pain in the ass and I never had a brolly with me. Plus it was freezing

Got a result though. The stuff I took amounted roughly to less than £100 initial outlay from me and the valuations amounted to approx £1300. Two of the items I aquired for nowt as well .. so was all good depsite the bloody rain.

Never been before so it was worth the experience
